Boredom

Off to see the Wiz

Well, it’s about that time again. A time where my boredom wells up to inexplicable heights and is in need of a sense of stimulation through fascination, intrigue, perhaps a problem to solve…Or a problem to cause? It is amazing the kind of things you can get up to with just a bit of free time. I guess “Too much boredom can be a dangerous thing.” Once again, my abilities in detection and espionage (to some degree) has been challenged. What on earth could be the challenge this time? While it’s none other than my friend and Colleague, Major. Ladies and Gentleman, my name is Mr. X and once again I wish to share a tale of where my wits and skill are challenged yet again. So without further adieu, let the story begin. (more…)

There Are Monsters In The Closets

You know I always wondered if some of the crazy stories that people tell when in college were true when I was younger. While I cannot speak for those people who love to exaggerate their stories, I can only speak for my own personal encounters(for the most part). However, it has come to my attention as to just what exactly you can find when there is a lack of parental supervision. From ridiculous drug abuse to an absurd amount of sexual endeavors. Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Mr.X and once again I have yet another ridiculous tale of the random happenings in my life. So without further adieu, let us begin the story. (more…)

Up all Night to get (Un)Lucky

Well, it is about that time folks…Spring is finally upon us!!! In addition to the change in seasons, there is also a change in perspectives. What once looked to be cold and unfeeling may now seem a bit warmer and more compassionate. However, I suppose that is a trick of nature, the great seasons bring great change and a form of rebirth on many occasions. A cold stare can be just as charming as a warm smile. Though none of this has anything to do with the story I plan to share with you. Not even in the slightest.. Ladies and Gentlemen, I am Mr. X and I have brought yet another nonsensical tale.. Featuring a lovely return of my lovely friend. Yes, folks, this will be another one of those stories, where little sense is to be made in my most awkward situations. As always I will try to make it as entertaining as possible, but I warn you this is another ridiculous story. (more…)

Farewell 2015…it’s been fun. Bring on 2016!!.

So 2016 is finally upon us and so is the New Year. So everyone is in a full celebratory mood and by celebratory, I mean getting completely and utterly wasted at crazy parties and such. As for me, however, I am merely basking in my apparent solitude reminiscing of the past ordeals I have faced during the year of 2015. Personally, I didn’t think I’d have much to recollect. 2015 did prove to be somewhat eventful with it’s mix of a few surprises and such. Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is X, Mr.X, and while this may not be another epic tale of my exploits or an interesting theory. It is my humble wish/request that you enjoy the recalling of the events of 2015, of stories told and maybe some untold. Now let us begin…. (more…)

Twas the night before Christmas…

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse. Except for one sulky scrooge on this Christmas eve. Who was this bitter soul, you may ask? Well it was none other than our enigmatic and acerbic persona, Mr.X. This year seems to be the same as any other except for the extreme lack of snow. You’d think that bother most as plenty would prefer to have a white Christmas, but not Mr.X. No, Mr.X seems to be quite pleased at the lack of snow this year, as in that is the only thing he is pleased about since he doesn’t need to break his back shoveling…… Once again Mr.X is suffering from his greatest enemy, Boredom. Yes, while everyone is enjoying the holidays with their family in full merriment and cheerful joy with love and care. Mr.X alone sulks as he finds those examples of Yuletide caring and apparent peace to be quite…dreadful. To make matters worse, he is without a cup of eggnog this year, making him unable to drown himself in a sweet sugary solace. Do not misunderstand, Mr.X doesn’t hate the holidays, anymore that is. In his earlier years he would full blown despise it all, from the Christmas music to the absurd traffic and the ridiculously busy stores among other personal issues. However, now he is completely indifferent toward the holiday season, though he now founds the holidays to be a gigantic bore. No bad guys to banish, no villains to vanquish, no dragons to slay, no mystery to solve. (more…)
