Ladies and Gentlemen welcome back to the second installment of My Dear Valentine. As always, I am your loving storyteller, Mr.X. Now let’s continue from where we left off. Will Jason be able to finally finished what he started? Or is the future doomed to repeat itself? Well, there is no use sitting around speculating, now let us continue our most interesting narrative!

My Dear Valentine: Regular Edition

It is important for us to learn from past mistakes. Because without that we become no different from wild mindless creatures. Even when solving problems it is important to learn from past cases, because as Sherlock Holmes said, “The old wheel turns, and the same spoke comes up. It’s all been done before, and will be again.” So I make sure to pay attention to all the details of all my adventures in order to learn from past mistakes. However, we shouldn’t just learn. We must also strive to improve on old ideas. If a certain scheme didn’t work it is best to dissect it and understand why it did not give the intended results and perhaps trying again with a bit of an improvement on said idea. Therefore, you won’t be branded with the mark of insanity. Although, with striving to learn from history as to not repeat it. One must not be consumed by the past and in turn, must be open to new possibilities they have yet to discover. Just because one idea failed the first time doesn’t mean the same will fail again given different parameters. Or if it does fail it doesn’t necessarily mean they were for similar reasons… Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is X, Mr. X. Your beloved storyteller. Already a few months into 2018 and there are so many interesting stories and adventures to tell. However, I do believe I promised a continuation with our dear protagonist Jason, and his quest to get closer to the woman he fancies, Asuly. So without further ado, let’s begin this interesting narrative.

Trying to Escape Wonderland Part 2

Be sure to read Part one here

Valentine’s Day

I’ll be brief about this day, nothing noteworthy happened. I was feeling fine a lot better than the past few days. I managed to chat up with few girls and such. However, I soon realized it was a very empty experience. Even Major was surprised how quickly I “recovered”. Of course, it did help that my brother had a more troublesome time than I did on Valentine’s day, but that’s for another time. I was mainly trying to distract myself thinking I was all good. Something similar to how you get a cold and when you get a little better you foolishly think you’re cured and go off trying to have fun. Only to realize that it wasn’t a simple cold but was actually the Flu. Which proceeds to kick your ass the next day for you misguided decision. Despite, the momentary bliss I felt at the time, I knew it wasn’t going to last.

Escape From Wonderland

DISCLAIMER: I do not own that picture by any means, I found it as a favorite on Pinterest. No idea of who the original Creator is.

Defeat, failure, rejection, and loss, all words that mean the same thing. Winners win and losers lose. At times, this simple fact tends to pose as the law of the universe. If you want to win then you must be a winner otherwise you are a loser, it is as simple as that. There are no exceptions, you either win or lose. Although, what if you can’t win? What if you constantly keep trying but victory always alludes you right at the last second? Maybe you were too slow, too weak, too dumb, or maybe you lost the moment you decided to play. Worse case, there was just someone better.  “If you can’t win the game, if you can’t solve the puzzle, you’re nothing but a loser.” A wise and honest quote by Near. Then again, it has also been said, “Winner always believe there is a point while loser believe in ‘What’s the point?'” I wonder which one of those quote holds more weight. Ladies and Gentlemen, I believe I owe you an explanation of my very long hiatus. However, there is a proper order to these things. My name is X, Mr. X, and we will embark on a tale of one of my many adventures. I warn that this story may not be for the faint of heart, so without further ado, let us begin the story.
